Our Kineta is a secluded waterfront home, with its own private beach and a magnificent view of the Aegean. Built on one of many terraces of the old olive and orange tree grove that surround it has pathways through the terraces and a stairway which leads to the private beach. Very Aegean, Very Mediterranean! A great setting for your Greek vacation !!!
And yet 45 minutes from down town Athens.
The house is build in a traditional style, but with several modern elements, which make it very comfortable. It has two bedrooms and an enormous living room with high ceilings and antique marble floors, which extend to its oversized verandas. It has a complete Kitchen, air-conditioning, Heating, fireplace, TV, radio & internet connection, outdoor BBQ and plenty of sitting areas. A local bus stops by our house and plenty of cab services are available in the area, to take you to or from the house to the home to the village or any taverna or the Proastiakos Commuter rail station, 6-7 miles away from our home, which has regular service to and from Athens, and which then connects to Athens Metro Subway system. Proastiakos by the way, starts at Athens International Airport and ends at Corinth . Kineta is 45 minutes form Athens, and less within an hour away from Athens airport by the new Attiki Odos superhighway.
The properties in the area arround it ar large private villas in large parcels of land, covered with pine trees and olive trees.

There are several great waterfront tavernas, and an old fishing village a couple, maybe three miles away, which offers anything and everything one needs for a comfortable stay. There are multiple grocery stores, bakeries, banks, pharmacies, other small artisan stores, and of course the small proto-Byzantine church of St Theodoroi. The beachfront there is packed with restaurants, taverns and ice cream places a bit of everything for the whole family to enjoy. There is a forested park next to the beach there, with nice walkways for long walks or bicycle rides, and a play ground as well as a couple of little taverns by the water. A little more upscale and a couple of miles from the house on the other direction is the public beach of Kineta , where are also a number of excusive tavernas, artisan stores and walk ways.
